Maidenhair ferns are delicate ferns from the Adiantaceae family, recognizable by their thin black stems and tiny, soft green leaflets. Native to the humid forests of Central and South America, they thrive in moist environments. These are popular indoor plants that are relatively easy to care for and bring an elegant, airy quality to any space.
Bright, indirect light is ideal. Avoid direct sunlight. Keep temperatures between 15–25°C (59–77°F), and avoid exposing the plant to temperatures below 10°C (50°F). Maidenhair ferns prefer higher humidity levels—aim for 60% or higher for best results. Good air circulation is also beneficial.
