Ficus altissima is a rubber plant native to Indonesia, prized for its bright yellow-green foliage. It's wonderfully hardy and easy to grow, developing gradually in bright indoor spaces. With decent shade tolerance, it's a favorite among beginners looking for a forgiving houseplant.
Bright, indirect light is ideal. While direct sun isn't necessary, the plant thrives in well-lit rooms away from windows. Keep temperatures above 15°C for best results. Humidity between 40–70% is comfortable, though it tolerates some dryness without complaint.
