Yucca is a tree native to Mexico, instantly recognizable by its striking blue-green, sword-shaped leaves. It's wonderfully hardy and drought-tolerant, making it a popular choice for indoor gardening. Growth is slow and steady, so you'll enjoy the same beautiful form for years to come.
Yucca loves bright light, but be careful—too much direct sun can scorch the leaves. Filtered light through sheer curtains is ideal. It's cold-hardy and can survive winters above 5°C, with a comfortable range of 15–25°C. Humidity isn't a concern for this one.

Water when the soil surface feels dry—that's your main guide. Since Yucca thrives on neglect rather than fussing, overwatering is actually the biggest risk and can lead to root rot. When you do water, soak the soil thoroughly until water drains from the bottom, then empty any standing water from the saucer. During winter, water even more sparingly.
